Production Dramaturgy

Production dramaturgy services may include completing an actors'/dramaturgy packet, meeting with the director, attending rehearsals, curating discussions and talkbacks, and writing program notes. This work can be done in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format.

Audience Talkbacks

Talkbacks can be pre- or post-production. They can also be between the dramaturg and the audience, or they can be a panel with actors, directors, designers, etc. that is moderated by the dramaturg. The exact nature of the talkback can be negotiated.

New Play Development

New play development services may be crafted to fit the needs of the playwright/director/organization and can include: meeting with the playwright and/or director, conducting preliminary research, moderating and attending workshops, completing an actors'/dramaturgy packet, attending rehearsals, curating discussions and talkbacks, and writing program notes. This work can be done in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format.

Script Consultations

Script consultation services may be crafted to fit the needs of the playwright and include one-on-one meetings with the playwright and notes on scripts and script drafts. This can be done in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. 

Production Research

Production research services include preparing an actors'/dramaturgy packet for production, but do not include any other production dramaturgy services.

Guest Lectures

Lectures can be done in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. Areas of expertise: Black Theatre, Queer Theatre, World Theatre History, American Theatre, Performance Studies, Arts Administration

Program Consultations

Consultations for any programming for a theatre or performing arts organization. The nature of consulting work will vary by the organization's needs. This can be done in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. 

Pricing

My rate for all consultation services is $50 per hour. Prices are negotiable for all other services and are based on audience size, production length, and duration (when applicable).
